Southern Voice network member Bitrina Diyamett presented papers on SDGs at the Science Forum, Pretoria on 8 December 2015. Diyamett, who is the Executive Director at Science, Technology and STIPRO – Tanzania, explained in her paper titled ‘the Governance of the National Innovation System (NISs) for Securing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Africa: some theoretical and practical thinking’ that poverty eradication has a strong connection with building technological and innovation capacities.
