The Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) hosted its Eighteenth Sustainable Development Conference (SDC) from 8-10 December 2015 in Islamabad. Deliberating upon the broad theme viz. “Securing Peace and Prosperity”, the conference was a prequel to the Nineteenth South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Summit which was scheduled to be hosted in early 2016. The conference was held in parallel to the Eighth South Asian Economic Summit (SAES VIII).
